Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 May 2025  |  Effective: 8 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Siam ("we", "us", "our") — the watch repair and restoration workshop located at 224 Ratchadamri Road, Lumphini, Bangkok 10330, Thailand — and each client ("you") who brings a watch for service, submits an enquiry, or uses this website.

By leaving a watch in our care or submitting an enquiry through this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, we welcome questions before work begins.

1. Service Agreement and Intake

When a watch is received at the workshop, we prepare an intake record noting its condition, the requested service, and any observations of particular note. This record forms the basis of our agreement and is shared with you at the point of intake.

Work begins only after the service scope and pricing have been discussed with you and your acceptance obtained — either in person, by phone, or in writing. If additional work is identified during service, we will contact you before proceeding.

Estimated timelines are given in good faith. Delays may arise from parts availability or the complexity of a movement's condition. We will keep you informed if a service takes longer than the original estimate.

2. Pricing and Payment

Our standard service prices are as follows:

Service Timeframe Price
Inspection & Light Service 1–2 weeks ฿4,200
Full Service ~3 weeks ฿9,600
Restoration & Record 6–8 weeks ฿14,400

Prices are in Thai Baht and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Additional parts — if required and agreed in advance — are charged separately at cost. We will always seek your approval before ordering parts beyond those included in the standard scope.

Payment is due upon collection of the watch. We accept cash and bank transfer. Should you wish to pay by other means, please discuss this at intake.

3. Care of Your Watch

All watches in our care are stored securely and handled with appropriate attention. We maintain a detailed record of each piece from intake to return.

In the unlikely event of accidental damage during service, we will notify you promptly, discuss the situation openly, and work with you toward a reasonable resolution. Our liability in such cases is limited to the cost of the service performed or the agreed value of the watch, whichever is lower, unless otherwise agreed in writing before work begins.

We strongly recommend noting the declared value of any watch at the point of intake, particularly for restoration work on pieces of significant value.

We are not responsible for pre-existing defects that were not apparent at intake, nor for issues arising from inherent age-related wear to parts not within the scope of the agreed service.

4. Collection of Completed Work

When a service is complete, we will contact you using the details provided at intake. Watches are held at the workshop for up to 90 days following notification. After this period, if no arrangement has been made, we may charge a reasonable storage fee.

If a watch remains uncollected for 12 months after notification and we have been unable to make contact, we reserve the right to apply for disposal in accordance with applicable Thai law, with the proceeds applied to outstanding charges.

Identification may be requested upon collection to confirm ownership.

5. After-Service Care

Each completed service is accompanied by a written record of the work carried out. We stand behind our workmanship: if a fault arises that is directly attributable to work we have performed, we will review it without charge within 12 months of the service date.

This does not cover faults arising from accidental damage, water ingress beyond the tested rating, or user handling following collection. It also does not apply where the watch has been opened or adjusted by another party after collection from us.

Restoration work on older movements may carry more limited after-service assurance, which will be noted clearly in the intake record.

6. Website Content

All content on this website — including text, photography, and design — is the property of Siam and may not be reproduced without written permission. The website is provided for information purposes and does not constitute a binding offer of services. Specifications and prices are subject to change; please confirm details at intake.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from the provision of services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Continued use of our services following any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For ongoing service arrangements already in progress, the terms agreed at intake continue to apply.

9. Questions

If you have any questions about these Terms before bringing a watch to us, we are happy to discuss them. Please reach out:
